September 7 - September 11

Week 5

Welcome to Mt. Vernon Intermediate

Dear Students and Families,

We have a three-day weekend coming up! There will be no school on Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day. We hope everyone enjoys the extra day and comes back on Tuesday ready for a great week!

It has been great to see the energy and enthusiasm our students bring to school each day. From the classroom to the hallways, our students have many opportunities to make positive choices and show the qualities we value at MVIS. We encourage you to talk with your student about the CHARGE qualities and the ways they are putting them into action each day: Choose Respect, Honor Integrity, Actively Focus, Re-do, Give Effort, and Embrace Challenges.

Picture Day is next Friday, September 11th. Please see below for more information about picture day and other upcoming events and reminders.

Have a safe and enjoyable Labor Day weekend!

Sincerely,
Ms. Ashley Gustin
Principal
