This is a friendly reminder that students are not allowed to carry medication on them at school, including over-the-counter medications such as ibuprofen, Tylenol, etc. According to school policy, all medications must be kept in the health office and administered appropriately.
Recently, several ibuprofen tablets were found on the floor in the gym. While we do not know how they got there, this serves as an important reminder of why this policy is in place—to help ensure the safety of all students.
If your child needs medication during the school day, please send it to the health office with the proper forms so it can be stored and given safely. The forms can be found
here.
