March 30 - April 3

Week 28

Welcome to Mt. Vernon Intermediate

Dear Students and Families,

As we begin our two-week Spring Break, I wantto thank our students and staff for their continued effort and commitment to learning.

I would also like to recognize our students for the wonderful way they participated in Kindness Week. Throughout the week, we saw many big and small acts of kindness shown to teachers and peers, helping create a positive and supportive environment in our building. Students also enjoyed celebrating together at the Golden Marauder Party, which recognized their great behavior throughout the third quarter.

This is a great time to recharge, spend time with family and friends, and return refreshed for the final stretch of the school year. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday, March 30, ready to finish the year strong!

Sincerely,
Ms. Ashley Gustin
Principal

Support Our School Libraries with the Psi Iota Xi Spring Flower Sale

Did you know that our local Psi Iota Xi sorority is donating the profits from their spring flower sale to the MV school libraries? See the note from Psi Iota Xi below

“With all schools budgets being tightened, the funding for the school libraries is being reduced. One of the three main goals for the Psi Iota Xi sorority is to support literature. This year, Psi Iota Xi has a goal to donate $6,000.00 from the profits of the flower sale to Mt. Vernon school libraries. Your flower purchase will help us reach this goal! Your flower purchase has the potential to touch each MV student! Thank you for your support!”

Email your order to tkirby@myninestar.net or call one of the committee members listed on the flyer. Payment on pick up, cash or check.
