Dear Students and Families,

As we head into Winter Break, we want to celebrate what an incredible first semester it’s been at MVIS. Our students have worked hard, shown growth, and helped shape the culture of our brand-new school in all the best ways. This week, we’re excited to host our Golden Marauder Parties on Thursday and Friday to celebrate students who have consistently demonstrated positive behavior and lived out our CHARGE values. We are also wrapping up NWEA testing, and we’re proud of the effort students have shown. With winter sports in full swing, school spirit is high and our teams are off to a great start.

Overall, it has been an excellent first half of the year, and we look forward to an even stronger second semester. We wish all our families a safe, restful, and joyful winter break! Please remember students will return to school on Tuesday, January 6th.

Below is the information about winter sports for sixth grade students.

Due to today's weather cancellation, sixth grade girls that planned to attend the final round of basketball try-outs should plan to attend a final try-out on Monday, December 15th. Try-outs will take place after school until 6pm in the MVIS gym. Please bring appropriate clothes and water.

MVIS will be offering 4 sessions of Peer Tutoring and Study Skills. These sessions will take place in the MVIS library on Thursdays at 7:30 AM.

Sessions 2-4 Peer Tutoring (Middle and High School National Honor Society Tutors)

Session 3: Jan 15th - Feb 26th

Session 4: April 2nd - April 30th
